1. The deal

Fruitfly is a community app where neighbors share extra fruit from their own property. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. Who can use Fruitfly

You must be at least 18 years old to arrange in-person pickups. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

One account per person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. The display name you choose is public to other users. Pick something neighborly — first name is plenty. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.

4. Listings and picks

List only fruit from property you own or have permission to share from. Describe your fruit honestly: what's available, how much, and when. Honor the limits you set. If your tree is picked out, mark the listing "out" or "full". Pick requests and approvals are agreements between neighbors. Fruitfly provides the introduction — the handoff is between you.

5. Play nice

Don't: harass or threaten anyone; post false or misleading listings; use profanity or hateful language in names, notes, or listings; spam; scrape the service; or use Fruitfly for anything illegal. Reports and blocks are reviewed, and violations can end your account.

6. Ratings

After a handoff, both sides can rate each other out of five stars. Ratings are public to help neighbors decide — rate honestly and only for real interactions.

7. Safety — read this

Pickups happen in the real world, with real strangers. You are responsible for your own safety. We strongly recommend: meet in daylight, tell someone where you're going, stay aware of your surroundings, and trust your instincts — you can cancel any pickup, anytime, no explanation needed. Fruitfly cannot guarantee the safety, quality, or condition of any fruit or any person you meet through the app.

8. Tokens

Pick tokens are an in-app counter for requesting picks. They have no cash value, can't be bought, sold, or transferred, and we may adjust how they're issued.

9. What we don't promise

Fruitfly is provided "as is". We don't guarantee the app will always work, or that any listing, fruit, or user is as described. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for anything that happens through your use of the app — including pickups, fruit quality, or interactions with other users.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the app grows. We'll note the new date above and flag material changes in the app. Keep using Fruitfly after that, and you've accepted the new terms.
